The state government of Uttar Pradesh has launched the Widow Pension Scheme for the welfare of destitute women. Uttar Pradesh Widow Pension Scheme will be given to women living below the poverty line of the state whose husband has died. Under this scheme, a pension amount of Rs 500 will be provided to the beneficiary.
